The Classic High School Horror

Carrie White is an outcast. Bullied by the in-crowd, virtually invisible to everyone else, and at the mercy of her cruel and controlling mother. Based on the Stephen King classic, this is a night of theatre that drives home a clear message: when pushed to their limits, everyone has their breaking point…
Based on Stephen King's bestselling novel, the musical of CARRIE hasn't been seen since its legendary 1988 Broadway production.  Now, the show's original authors have joined with director Stafford Arima (Altar Boyz) and MCC Theater for a newly reworked and fully re-imagined vision of this gripping tale. CARRIE features a book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic film), music by Academy Award winner Michael Gore (Fame, Terms of Endearment) and lyrics by Academy Award winner Dean Pitchford (Fame,  Footloose).
Join Louis Ellis Productions in their inaugural production of CARRIE: The Musical, combining some of Sydney’s most exciting up and coming talent in what is going to be a night you’ll never forget…
